Business English Course Programs

I offer 1‑to‑1 and small group Busi­ness Eng­lish course pro­grams to help you devel­op con­fi­dence to com­mu­ni­cate freely in Eng­lish in any work­place sit­u­a­tion. Togeth­er, we will work to:

  • Iden­ti­fy your top learn­ing priorities 
  • Devel­op your flu­en­cy and con­fi­dence through role plays and oth­er speak­ing activities
  • Build vocab­u­lary spe­cif­ic to your job and sector
  • Deter­mine areas for improve­ment in your English

I val­ue a pos­i­tive and relaxed atmos­phere in my cours­es, so you can have fun while learn­ing English!

Before join­ing a course, you are always offered a free 30-minute Zoom con­sul­ta­tion to see which Busi­ness Eng­lish course pro­gram is best for you. You can find my rates here.

All lessons will take place online via Zoom. For clients in Mün­ster, there is an oppor­tu­ni­ty to meet in per­son once a month for a “Busi­ness Walk”.

Business English Refresher — 1‑to‑1 (8x45 minutes)

A gen­er­al review of gram­mar and vocab­u­lary in the con­text of the work­place. Great if you have not used Eng­lish in a while and want to refresh the basics: describ­ing your job, office equip­ment, Zoom­ing, phone calls, meet­ings, emails.

Focus on ver­bal com­mu­ni­ca­tion skills in the work­place: Describ­ing your job, mak­ing small talk, meet­ings, con­fi­dent pre­sent­ing, man­ag­ing phone calls, Zoom­ing, pitch­ing an idea.

Business English: Office communication (8x45 minutes)

Focus on writ­ten and ver­bal com­mu­ni­ca­tion in an office set­ting, such as: email­ing, describ­ing office pro­ce­dures, intro­duc­ing your­self and describ­ing your job, small talk, pre­sen­ta­tions, meet­ings, plan­ning a busi­ness trip.

Deep-dive into more advanced skills that you might need in your spe­cif­ic sec­tor of work, such as: Busi­ness eti­quette in your sec­tor, email eti­quette in your sec­tor, nego­ti­at­ing, enter­tain­ing busi­ness clients, sales meet­ings, inter­cul­tur­al busi­ness com­mu­ni­ca­tion, con­flict man­age­ment, etc.

Email English short course (4x45 minutes)

Indi­vid­u­al­ly tai­lored short course to exam­ine your email com­mu­ni­ca­tion style. Focus on grow­ing your phrase bank of email lan­guage and cor­rect­ing your com­mon mis­takes to help you become a more effec­tive com­mu­ni­ca­tor via email.

Indi­vid­u­al­ly tai­lored work­shop ses­sions to review text you have writ­ten in Eng­lish. Focus on main­tain­ing your voice while cor­rect­ing your com­mon mis­takes and improv­ing the clar­i­ty of your writ­ing. You’ll get “free” Eng­lish speak­ing prac­tice while we dis­cuss and improve your writ­ten texts.
